A dinner party, and I didn't cook!

This past Thursday, we were invited to Gab's best friend Alps house for dinner.

We decided to walk since they live in Cameron Station, and the weather outside was magnificent.

Along the way, we saw the cutest pumpkins:

Once we arrived at their house, Gab & Alp instantly disappeared upstairs, and we snacked on some appetizers and drank some wine while Alp's father finished preparing dinner.

When he was done cooking, we called the kids down, and we all sat down and ate this DELICIOUS Mediterranean Seafood Salad:


For dinner he made a pasta dish with fish in red sauce, which I unfortunately, did not get a picture of.

After dinner, we went out on the terrace to enjoy the nice weather.

We listened to opera, shared some cigars, ate dessert, drank port, and had great conversation.


We had a great time at dinner and so did the boys, as always.

It was so nice to get together, and even nicer to not have to cook dinner on a weeknight!

Thanks again for having us over! We WILL do it again soon!
